Summary of the Position
- The Phlebotomist is responsible for providing laboratory-related services to outpatient and other customers while ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and minimal errors in all laboratory procedures.

Minimum Entry Qualifications
-Passed G.C.E. O/L Examination

Essential Functions
- Perform accurate barcoding of patient samples.
- Draw blood from OPD patients, ward patients, and during mobile visits with utmost care and professionalism.
- Attend home visits conducted through mobile services.
- Maintain proper records of samples in relevant record books.
- Respond to telephone inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Handle inquiries from patients and other stakeholders.
- Organize laboratory reports and hand them over to patients appropriately.
- Assist doctors during procedures such as Bone Marrow Extraction and FNAC procedures.
- Obtain supervisor approval for free-of-charge investigations when required.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 15189 and JCI standards.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures at all times.
- Guide and train newly recruited staff members.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
